Mesotherapy is a non-surgical, gentle and effective treatment method that combines various therapeutic techniques from drug therapy, neural therapy and acupuncture.

Mesotherapy is applied in our clinic:

  • For the improvement of skin texture
  • For the treatment of superficial wrinkles
  • For stretch marks (striae)
  • For hair loss

Active ingredient combinations are the key to beautiful and vibrant skin

During the treatments, small micro-injections with different combinations of active substances (minerals, vitamins, amino acids, hyaluronic acid, medicines) are injected into the respective area with an injection device (mesogun). The "nutrient cocktail" is injected into deeper skin layers which are inaccessible by creams, serums or similar products.

Mesotherapy is suitable for almost every skin type and can be used for refinement, wrinkle treatment, smoothing as well as rejuvenation of the skin texture on the entire body, and for the treatment of hair loss. It helps to achieve healthy, elastic and firm skin with a new radiant complexion.

A meso therapeutic treatment also helps with hair loss

The loss of up to 100 hairs per day is considered normal. If hair loss goes beyond this, it can be a great burden for both men and women. Mesotherapy is ideally suited to counteract hair loss and thinning, sparse hair.

In many cases, a hair transplant is not even necessary or desired. This is where mesotherapy can help. Hair loss can be slowed down or stopped completely and hair growth can be stimulated. By injecting a "revitalizing cocktail" into the scalp, the hair follicles are stimulated, rejuvenated and strengthened, and the blood circulation of the scalp is improved.

Due to different growth phases of the hair follicles, 6 to 10 applications are typically necessary at weekly intervals. The first results appear after 3 - 5 treatments. The hair loss is slowed or stopped and the hair quality is improved. If there are still hair roots that react to stimulation, new hair growth occurs. To maintain success of the therapy, the treatment can be repeated once a year.

Medical studies have shown a success rate of over 80% in the treatment of hair loss with mesotherapy.

By combining mesotherapy with PRP (platelet-rich autologous plasma), the regeneration of hair roots can be sustained and enhanced in the long run.

Mesotherapy can be used for:

Mesotherapy is not recommended in cases of strong autoimmune activity (alopecia areata or long-term baldness) as positive results have not been shown in these cases.

1. How does mesotherapy work?

Mesotherapy works through a special injection technique and a nutrient cocktail that is specifically adapted to the patient. With the help of a Vital-Injector, the combination of active ingredients is injected subcutaneously (under the skin) or intracutaneously (within the layers of the skin) with very small cannulas.  By doing this, the effect of the nutrient cocktail happens specifically at the place of treatment where the effect is desired, without burdening the rest of the body.

The skin is supplied with micronutrients, natural regeneration processes are stimulated and blood circulation is promoted. The skin's appearance will be visibly improved in the progression of the therapy. The skin becomes smoother and firmer and the overall appearance is visually rejuvenated. The result is healthy skin with a radiant complexion.

2. How does mesotherapy treatment work?

Before each treatment, a consultation with a medical specialist takes place. The treatment and, if necessary, alternative treatment methods are explained to you in detail. In addition, a photo is taken.

Depending on the skin condition and the desired improvement, 3 treatments at intervals of 2 weeks are generally recommended. We combine these treatments with PRP (platelet rich plasma) for the best results.

The treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and takes up to one hour, depending on the size of the treatment area.

Neither anaesthesia or sedation are necessary due to the modern injection technique. After the treatment, a special mask is applied to soothe the skin.

3. What should be considered after mesotherapy?

  • No sports, no sauna visits on the day of treatment
  • Do not use skin-irritating products such as acne ointments, anti-aging preparations, fruit acid creams for the first few days following the treatment
  • No solarium in the following weeks
  • Consistent use of sun protection in the following weeks (sun creams with a sun protection factor of at least 30 +)
