A well-shaped bottom is the current beauty standard from Brazil. In Germany, too, there is a steadily growing demand for a buttock lift and shaping. We can contour your buttocks using a combination of liposuction and injection of autologous fat. The fat deposits around the buttocks are suctioned off accordingly to create a beautiful transition from the buttocks to the legs and torso. In addition, the bottom is lifted or enlarged by injecting fatty tissue into the upper parts of the buttocks. We only use a safe method of fat transplantation, in which the muscle is completely removed ("safe" Brazilian Butt Lift). Implants are not used in this procedure.

A prerequisite for such a treatment with autologous fat is having sufficient fat reserves. Since no extraneous material is implanted into the body, the tissue feels soft and natural after the surgery. We look forward to seeing you at our practice in Düsseldorf! 1. What is the procedure for a Brazilian Butt Lift?

The operation is performed under general anaesthesia, as no local anaesthetic should be used during the removal of autologous fat in order to protect the very sensitive fat cells and to achieve an optimal result. Depending on the amount of suction and the location of the fat reserves, the butt augmentation takes about 2-4 hours. The fat is suctioned off with particularly gentle liposuction methods and specially prepared (BEAULI technique) so that pure fat cells are available for transplantation.

The fat is inserted through small stab incisions using a blunt cannula to shape the buttocks. We inject the fat exclusively into the subcutaneous tissue and completely spare the muscle. This is the only way to guarantee the highest possible safety of the procedure!

At the end of the operation you will wear special compression pants. These have an opening on the buttocks to avoid exerting pressure on the sensitive fat cells. An inpatient stay of one night is recommended.

2. What do I have to consider after my buttock augmentation or buttock lift?

After the buttocks lift, you should avoid pressure on the buttocks for the first 20 days to protect the transplanted fatty tissue. There should not be long periods of sitting (traveling by car, plane, train, etc.) You should also sleep on your stomach during this time. Depending on your professional occupation, you should plan for a downtime of about 2 weeks. The special compression garment must be worn day and night for 6 weeks after the operation, as in the case of liposuction. Light sports activities are permitted again after 6 weeks.

3. How long does the result of the procedure last?

The durability of transplanted fat tissue is ensured as long as the transplanted fat cells can heal undisturbed. With the technique we use, about 70% of the transplanted fat can heal. The healing process takes place in the first two to four weeks after the operation. Therefore, during this time, as little pressure as possible should be exerted on the respective areas.

The result of the operation can be considered stable after about four weeks. In the suctioned areas, the final result can be expected after about 4-6 months, as the tissue and skin undergo a somewhat longer phase of recovery and swelling. Patience and attentive skin care is the key to success. We will be happy to advise on the most suitable skin care for you!

Further FAQ

How much autologous fat is required for a buttock lift?

We recommend amounts of 200 ml fat per side for moderate enlargement. Ideal quantities are around 400-800 ml per side to achieve a clearly noticeable difference in volume.

If there are not enough fat deposits for a buttock lift using autologous fat, a weight gain of a few kilograms in advance may help. If this is not possible or not desired, one should think about alternatives.

How much does a Brazilian Butt Lift cost?

The cost of this procedure depends on the total amount of work involved, the amount of suction required to obtain the patient's autologous fat and other factors. In general, an estimated value of € 6,000 or more can be assumed. We will be happy to put together your individual treatment and cost plan during a detailed consultation. The Brazilian Butt Lift has encountered negative headlines recently. Is there an underestimated danger in this procedure?

After two deaths from a Brazilian Butt Lift at a practice in Düsseldorf became public, we were contacted several times by concerned patients regarding the safety of the procedure.

A Brazilian Butt Lift, like any other surgical procedure, involves general and specific risks, which we inform our patients about very carefully and repeatedly, both orally and in writing.

In our opinion, patients increase the risk of complications if the procedure is not performed by a suitably qualified and experienced "Specialist in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery," who has acquired their certified skills in a six-year training course and completed mandatory comprehensive training.

We are convinced that aesthetic surgery should only be performed by a doctor who has the appropriate professional qualifications and mature professional experience!

Our team of experts have 3 x 15 years of joint specialist medical experience and will inform you in extensive detail about this procedure.

Do not make any rash decisions when choosing a doctor and always play it safe!
